There will be a Lusaka Conference Extraordinary meeting at Chainama SDA Church on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 25th of January 2014. The meeting on Saturday start at 1400 hours CAT whilst one for Sunday will start at 0830 hours CAT. All CHURCH BOARD MEMBERS FOR 2014 TO ATTEND.
There will be a Lusaka Conference Church Clerks Symposium on Saturday the 25th of January 2014. The meeting will be held at Chainama SDA church and will start at 1400 hours CAT. All clerks and assistants need to attend. They need to come with the following,
1. Laptops
2. Modems with Airtime
3. CMS Membership slips (Paper slips)
4. The CMS church registers on CD ROMs
There will a Lusaka Conference Dorcas Council on Sunday the 2nd of March 2014. The meeting will be held at Libala SDA Church and will start at 0900 hours CAT. All District and local church Dorcas executive members need to attend
There will be a District Youth Council at Chainda SDA Church on Sunday the 12th of January 2014. The Council will start at 0900hrs. To attend are the following,
1. All Youth Executive Leaders at the Federation
2. All Senior Youth Leaders from the local church
3. All Ambassador, Pathfinder and Adventurers leaders from the local church.
4. All Youth Sponsors
There will be a 2104 Lusaka Conference Training Seminar on Sunday the 12th of July 2014 starting at 0830 hours. To attend are the following,
1. All Sabbath School Officers and Study Guide Leaders and Elders in Charge
2. All Personal Ministries Leaders and Elders in Charge
3. All VOP Leaders and Elders in Charge
Participants need to come with packed lunch
All Churches are to submit Local Church Time Management and Service Requests to the District Pastors office by Monday the 27th of January 2014.
There will be a Couples Evening on Saturday the 29th of March 2014 to be held at Kwithu Lodge in Avondale. The event is organised by The District Family Life Committee. Each couple is asked to contribute K170 for a three meal course for two. There will also be lessons on family life from selected speakers. There will be a CPC Meeting on Sunday the 22nd of December at Chainda SDA Church starting at 0830. the following are to attend,

Each church to present quarterly reports
There will be a District Council meeting on Sunday the 29th of December 2013 at Chainda SDA church starting at 0900 hrs. All local chutrch board members to attend. Each District Department shall present a report.
We are encouraged to keep time
There will be a District Youth Camp from 22 to 29 December 2013 at Palm Drive Christian School in Chelston. Each Youth to contribute K90
There will be an SID pathfinder Camporee from 13 to 19 April 2014 in Livingstone. Registration is K436 per Pathfinder. Contact the District Pastor for more details
Each church in the district should start preparing to make contributions to the district for the year 2014. The contributions per church in 2014 are the same as those for 2013. Churches to contact Elder Mooba the District Treasurer for more details on 0966 943689
The Zambia Union Festival of Laity has been postponed until notice. All querries to be contacted to the District Pastor
There will be an SID AMO rally from 1 to 5 April 2014 at Solusi University in Zimbabwe. Each candidate to contribute USD 90 for food and registration.
The Zambia Union School of Evangelism takes place from 24th February to 2 March 2014 at Andrews Motel. Payments are as follows

There will be an Interpreters Seminars at Chainda SDA church on sunday 1st December 2013 starting at 0900 hrs. Each church to send at least 5 representatives.
The tentative District Activity Plan for 2014 is out and churches need to pick copies from the Pastors office.
The Christ Ambassadors from Rwanda in East Africa will be holding music fellowship concerts as follows,
30th November 1730 hrs to 2200 hrs at Blessing Centre situated at junction of Lumumba and Vubu Road in Emmasadale
Tickets cost K50 and K100 per person
2nd December 1730 hrs to 2200 hrs at the Goverment Complex
Tickets cost K150 per person

All churches to submit soft copies of filled in Offline CMS registers(Using Offline Excell Format) . Clerks must ensure to separate the membership into two types, that is, The REAL ACCOUNT (Actual Members) and THE SUSPENSE ACCOUNT (Members Not Still Congregating at Local Church). The records must be sent to the Pastors office in soft copies using CDs by Friday 29th November 2013
There will be a Dorcas Zone Meeting on Sunday the 10th of November 2013 at Kabwata SDA Church. The meeting will start at 0900 hrs. To attend are,

There will be a Lusaka Conference Pathfinder End Of Year Camp at Grand IQ School in Chilanga in December 2013. Each Pathfinder is required to contribute K100 for Registration,Transport and Food.

Literature Evangelism Training programme continues on Sunday 24th November 2013 at NRDC SDA Church. To attend are
1. All Newly recruited LEs in the district,
2. Those willing to be start as LEs and
3. All lincensed LEs in the district.
The trainings starts at 0900 to 1600. Participants need to come along with packed lunch
There will be the Zambia Union Business Convetion for all adventist men and women in business at Mulungushi International Conference Centre from 28th November 2013 to 1st December 2013. All small scale, medium scale and large scale businessmen to attend. Participation fee is K900 per delegate. For more details contact the District Pastors Office
There will be a Lusaka Conference SSPC meeting on Sunday the 10th of November 2013 at Libala SDA Church starting at 0900 hrs. To attend are,
1. All Stewardship leaders at district and local church level
2. All Treasurers at district and local church level
3. All Auditors at district and local church level
There will be a Planning Symposium for all Church and District Departmental leaders at Chainda SDA Church on Sunday the 10th of November 2013. The meeting will start at 0900hrs. All church leaders or department heads for 2013 and 2014 and district leaders are to attend. This is a very important meeting as it shall look at budgets and activities for 2014.
There will be a District Stewardship Symposium on 17th November 2013 at Chainama SDA Church starting at 0900 hrs. The meeting is organised by Lusaka Conference. All Stewarship Leaderships in coming and out going, Elders in Charge of Stewardship incoming and outgoing need to attend.
The Sabbath of 7th December has been set aside by the Lusaka conference as Stewardship Emphasis day in all local congregations. Speakers to each congregation in Avondale Mission District will be assigned through the Pastors office.
All local congregations in Avondale Mission District to conduct Membership Head Counts on Saturday the 2nd of November 2013. Church Clerks need to do the head count during Sabbath School and Divine Service. The information gathered has to be sent to the Pastors Office by Monday the 28th of October 2013
The Avondale Mission District Dorcas Federation has organised a social outing for all Dorcas Workers in the district on Sunday the 3rd of November 2013 at Munda wanga botanical gardens. The local church societies need to organise thier own transport and be on site by 0900. Punctuality must be observed.
All Clerks incoming and outgoing, Communication Leaders incoming and outgoing must attend a District Clerks and Communications Leaders meeting at Chainda Church on Sunday the 27th of October 2013 starting at 0900 hrs.
Churches that have not yet submitted lists of Elected Church Officers for 2014 to 2015 to do so before Monday the 18th of November 2013. Copies must be taken to the Pastors office
There will be a District Leadership Seminar for all church officers for 2014 to 2015 on 17th November 2013 at Chainda SDA Church starting at 0900 hours. Participants to come with pens, paper and packed lunch.

There will a SHARE A BOOK TO THE WORLD DAY in Local Churches on 26th November 2013. All churches to contact the District Publishing Leader LE Milambo for the same and on allocation of speakers. Church members to buy a copy of the GREAT HOPE and share it with someone in the community
There Lusaka Conference will be conducting training to all those baptised between January and November 2013 in a programme called KEEP THE HARVEST to be held at Libala SDA Church on 17th November 2013 starting at 0900 Hrs. All PM leaders, Interest Coordinators and those those baptised between January and November 2013 to attend. All participants to carry packed lunch.
There will be a Lusaka Conference Sabbath School training on 1st December 2013 at Libala SDA starting at 0900 hrs. To attend are all Sabbath School Council Members including Dsicussion Group leaders. This meeting is for incoming and outgoing leaders.
The following churches Avondale, Chainama, NRDC and Silver rest are to select one child who will attend the Children Ministries Campmeeting to be held at Rephdim from 10th to 14th December 2013. Each to contribute K150 per child for registration. Names are to be submitted to the Pastors office by Monday the 21st of October 2013. Speaker will be Pastor Saustin Mfune from the Division
There will be a Women Ministries Seminar on Entreprenueship Skills Development on 3rd November 2013 at Central Church starting at 0900hrs. All WM leaders at the District and local churches to attend.
The meeting for Clerks and Communication leaders that was postponed last week will now take place on Sunday the 20th of October 2013 at Chainama SDA church starting at 0900hrs. All comunication leaders incoming and outgoing and Clerks incoming and outgoing are to attend this important meeting. Each partcipant to come with a laptop and an internet modem
Meeting slated for 13th October 2103 for people selected to Draft the District Strategic Plan for 2014 to 2019 has been moved to Sunday the 20th of October at Chainama SDA at 0900.
